License and Training:

Licensed clinical psychologist - licensed to practice in the State of Pennsylvania

Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy, Chestnut Hill College 

My clinical and academic training is primarily in Psychodynamic and Family Systems theories, with additional training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectic Behavior Therapy) approaches

Doctoral APA-accredited internship at CHC’s Psychological Services Clinic in Flourtown, PA and Northeast Treatment Centers in Center City

Dissertation: self-care for doctoral interns in clinical psychology and its impact on their work with clients

Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, Chestnut Hill College


Communities I served:

In my 17 years of therapy experience, I've had the privilege and pleasure of serving a diverse group of populations, including:

~at-risk children and teenagers
~families dealing with co-parenting and divorce,
~children and adults with depression and anxiety disorders, and adults with co-occurring (substance use/abuse and mental health) disorders

 ~individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds

~clients as young as 7 y.o. and up to 74 y.o. (and counting) in community-based mental health and intensive outpatient settings


25 years of direct service: 
~Mentoring high school students
~Teaching group swimming lessons ages 3-5 y.o.
~Lifeguard and pool party host for kids' birthdays
~
Camp counselor for under-served elementary school children

18 years teaching music:
~how to play covers, write songs, record, improvise, and play with others, plus seasonal recitals

~in-home and in my studio
